Highway department savings bond deduction printouts, 1982-[ongoing].

According to the Alabama Administrative Code, 355-1-1, "The Division of Control and Accounts is responsible for maintaining all books, records and accounts of the State Treasury which relate to the finances of the State government." These records are input documents that are sent to Control and Accounts by the Highway Department and are then used to generated the Savings Bond Balance and Edit Reports (S-9-76). The records consist of two parts. The first one, titled Highway Bond Listing, shows date, employee number, employee name, and amount of deduction; the second, Bond List and Balance, is arranged by department number and gives date, warrant number, employee number, employee name, bond deduction amount, department code number, and total deductions for each department.
